The Gallery
Red Materia plans an exhibition every two to three months that explores design, craft, and natural materials.
Between those exhibitions, we open the gallery up for two weeks and make it available for creatives to rent and mount their own exhibitions, events, and pop-ups.

The event garden
Our back yard has a large, grassy area shaded by a massive avocado tree. It is perfect for cultural events, workshops, installations, and more.
While we program our own events in this space, it is available for rent year-round on a daily, week-end, and weekly basis.

We offer our refurbished “garage” for short-term and medium-term rentals.
current exhibition: “a partir de la alfombra”
For “A partir de la alfombra” (“The carpet as a point of departure”), we invited creators who already utilize the materials and subject matter of alfombras in their work, despite coming from completely different fields. Here, alfombras are an art form, a design language, a meeting point, a code of motifs and colors, a bold banner, a storyline, a celebration of process, and a wide field of perspectives.
