As part of our residency program,

this
could
be you

if you focus on material life cycles, futures, and processes

then this experience is for you

the residency:

The residency program is meant for stays of at least one week, but up to two months, for those who would like to ground their professional or creative practice in hands-on making. Those who participate in the residency program have access to shared studio space, multiple making spaces, private quarters, as well as shared living spaces and gardens.

The residency program offers participants access to Red Materia’s large network of partners and collaborators who have special facilities and access to local materials. You are welcome to work across both spaces and learn with these material experts - we can help you get started or get what you need to work within our on-site studios.

Red Materia accepts applicants from all fields for the residency program. Applications and details are available on our website. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

We welcome designers of all kinds, architects, artists, strategists, researchers, curators, and artisans. If you focus on material life cycles, material futures, and sustainable processes, then this residency is for you.

Spanish is not required for this residency - we can help you make things happen.
